I enjoy working on my own color schemes for Geany. To download the entire collection, click here.

Borland-Based Color Schemes
These are my best effort to recreate the color schemes offered with the 1995 Borland IDE. I did make a few embellishments. The old IDE did not have line markers or folding symbols, so I took some liberties there, but whatever I could keep original, I did.
Borland Default v. 2.2 The default color scheme for the old Borland IDE |
Borland Classic v. 2.1 The "classic" color scheme for the old Borland IDE |
Borland Ocean v. 2.1 The "ocean" color scheme for the old Borland IDE |
Borland Twilight v. 2.1 The "twilight" color scheme for the old Borland IDE |
Season-Based Color Schemes
Springtime v. 1.5 Light and colorful springtime theme |
Summer v. 1.5 Code under a clear blue sky |
Octalober v. 1.9 Coloful Fall theme |
Hexmas v. 1.3 A wintery/Christmas theme |
Retro-Based Color Schemes
These retro themes are based on the old IBM Color Graphics Adapter (CGA) and old monochrome monitors. The CGA ones were a bit of a challenge. The adapter could only display four simultaneous colors, so I did my best to make a diverse color scheme with only those.
CGA1 v. 2.2 Based on CGA palette 0, high intensity |
CGA2 v. 2.2 Based on CGA palette 1, high intensity |
CGA3 v. 2.2 Based on CGA palette 0, low intensity |
CGA4 v. 2.2 Based on CGA palette 1, low intensity |
Retro Amber v. 2.9 Inspired by old amber monochrome monitors |
Retro Green v. 3.2 Inspired by old green monochrome monitors (think Apple IIe) |
